It is like a private social network for families where you can stay connected with your loved ones 24/7, know where they are, share photos, and connect to them immediately when emergencies arise.
With Family Orbit, users can:
- View an Activity Wall with Family News generated automatically
- Track every one's location on a real-time map
- Create Family Places like Home and School and be notified automatically (by push notifications and emails) when they arrive or leave
- Check In or Send Panic Alerts to family members
- View Location History of members within last 7 days
- Share Photos privately and securely with everyone in the family
- Send one on one or group messages, free of cost
- Full privacy controls for adult members. They can turn sharing on and off at any time they wish. Child accounts are supervised by their parents.
The software allows creation of child accounts, turning it into parental control software, allowing guardian members to:
1. Set up Speed Limits and be notified when their teenager is driving over the limit
2. Monitor "all photos" snapped with the phone's camera applications
3. Monitor "all contacts" added to their address book
4. Monitor device information like Wi-Fi details and battery information
5. Children can check which guardian is near and request for them to pick them up.

Terms of Premium
- Length of subscription is one month.
- The cost is $4.99 per month.
- Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase?.
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period?.
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal?.
- Subscription may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
?- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period?.
?- All previous data is preserved when purchasing Premium subscription.
- After Premium is expired your limits will be set back to Free version.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Family Orbit turns GPS on and off with an intelligent algorithm to save battery life and still give as accurate location as possible.
